What are the mounting requirements for my SFI 16.1 seat belts in my 1957 Corvette Street Roadster?

Answer:

In the 2019 NHRA Rulebook section 21, page 43, 10:5 Drivers Restraint System, all harness sections must be mounted to the frame, crossmember, or reinforced mounting, and installed to limit driver’s body travel both upward and forward.  Seat belts may not be wrapped around lower framerails.
