NO PROBLEM RACEWAY LUCAS OIL EVENT POSTPONED

 

 

BELLE ROSE, La., February 26, 2019 – NHRA and No Problem Raceway officials announced today that due to weather continuing to plague the entire South Central Division, the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Regional event at No Problem Raceway Park originally scheduled for this weekend, March 1-3, 2019, is being rescheduled. The new date for the event will be June 21-22, 2019.  

 

This schedule change will affect the final points event for the Lucas Oil Divisional Series 2019 JEGS Allstar season points calculations. The first event at the Texas Motorplex Double event on April 4-5, 2019 will now be the final qualifying points event to earn points toward a birth in the 2019 JEGS Allstars event.  The second event of the Texas Motorplex Double, April 6-7, will be the first event for racers to earn points toward the 2020 JEGS Allstars.  The No Problem Raceway rescheduled event June 21-22 will count toward the 2020 JEGS Allstars points.

 

The final points race for the Lucas Oil Regional Drag Racing Series for the 2019 Central Region JEGS All-Star points for Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car will be April 4-6 at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas. This change to the 2019 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Regional schedule will move the first race for the 2020 JEGS All Stars Reginal event to Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park May 24-26.
