Is it legal to mount my car battery on the floor behind the passenger seat in my Pro E.T. Fairlane if I put it in a battery box?

Answer:

No you may not.  Per the 2019 NHRA Rulebook section 4A on page 7 it reads “Batteries must be securely mounted, may not be located in drivers compartment.”
