At the 2026 NHRA 4-Wide Nationals at zMax Dragway, both Matt Smith (PSM) and Shawn Reed (TF) had scale violations resulting in run disqualifications.  Smith’s Q1 run was disqualified, and Reed’s Q2 run was disqualified.

At the 2026 Lucas Oil event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, April 16 – 19, 2026, Steve Hamilton displayed behavior that was unacceptable and violated the 2026 NHRA Rulebook. Hamilton received a formal warning for participant conduct. Any future incidents of this nature will result in disciplinary action.

At the 2026 NHRA Southern Nationals at South Georgia Motorsports Park, Matt Latino was observed removing his safety gear while still on track.  This violation resulted in a disqualification of his Q3 run and a monetary fine of five thousand dollars ($5,000).
