The NHRA has imposed monetary fines against Doug Winters, Shannon Mingee and Chuck Gallagher for violating NHRA Rules.
A pit vehicle assigned to Doug Winters was found with a counterfeit pit vehicle sticker which is a direct violation of NHRA Rules, particularly Section 1.3.1 Participant conduct of the 2018 NHRA Rulebook and NHRA’s Auxiliary Pit Vehicle Policy. As a result, a monetary fine of $1,500 has been imposed.
A pit vehicle assigned to Shannon Mingee was involved in an incident and was discovered with a counterfeit pit vehicle sticker which is a direct violation of NHRA Rules, particularly Section 1.3.1 Participant conduct of the 2018 NHRA Rulebook and NHRA’s Auxiliary Pit Vehicle Policy. As a result, a monetary fine of $1,500 has been imposed.
A photo copy of restricted area credential was confiscated assigned to Chuck Gallagher which is a direct violation of NHRA Rules, particularly Section 1.3.1 Participant conduct of the 2018 NHRA Rulebook. As a result, a monetary fine of $500 has been imposed.
Each can appeal the decision, per the 2018 NHRA Rulebook.
