Grime Boss will once again take part in the NHRA Contingency program. This year will bring several positive changes including reduced fees, class expansion, and ease of registration.
Grime Boss has lowered the buy-in cost for its contingency program. Drivers will only pay $95 for the 2014 season. This package includes a case of 60-count Grime Boss Heavy Duty Wipes, a dispenser bracket and decals.
Grime Boss is posting contingency for more classes in the 2014 Lucas Oil Series contested at NHRA national events. Eligible categories this year are Stock, Super Stock, Super Comp, Competition, Super Gas, Super Street, Top Sportsman and Top Dragster.
Also new this year, Grime Boss is offering contingency at eight designated 2014 NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Series finals. Postings for those events will include: Super Pro, Pro E.T., Sportsman and Motorcycle.
Registration will be done online or by phone this season and is already underway at www.grimebossracing.com or by calling Nicole Erickson with Forward Sports Marketing: (816) 246-8866 extension 5.
Racers will need to complete registration with payment by credit or debit card and complete the W-9 and advertising release forms online. A registration package must be purchased for each car if a racer is entering multiple cars.
Participants can have their Grime Boss contingency package shipped to them, or picked up at the Grime Boss Funny Car/Jim Dunn Racing pit area at any NHRA national event with proof of registration purchase.
2013 was the first season Grime Boss was involved in the NHRA contingency program and the black and gold logo showed up in the Winner’s Circle at almost every NHRA national event. With the enhancements for racers in 2014, many more racers are expected to participate and claim awards throughout the season.
