News from Quick Fuel

Quick Fuel Technology® (QFT) has been very involved with NHRA in getting its replacement-style carburetors accepted for Stock and Super Stock racing as the 30-year-old plus O.E. units are no longer available or viable. QFT has also been leading the charge with its new large-bore QFX Black Diamond® carburetors for the very popular Super Comp, Top Sportsman and Top Dragster classes, and its recent introduction of a full line of racing fuel pumps that fulfill virtually all racing applications, has prompted QFT to expand its racer support program with a substantial contingency payout for the 2014 NHRA race season. To qualify, the racer must use the posted products and proper decals per NHRA requirements. The contingency program includes the NHRA Mello Yellow Drag Racing Series, the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series including the Jeg’s Sportsnationals events and the Summit ET Series. Total postings for carburetors and fuel pumps total $418,400.

For a complete list of NHRA-accepted carburetors and fuel pumps, contact the QFT Sales Department. For Super Class carburetors and other racing applications, please visit www.quickfueltechnology.com or call the QFT Sales Department. Quick Fuel will also be providing racer technical support and services at all NHRA events at the Hyatt Racing Services trailer on the NHRA Midway.
