Tuesday Tech Question presented by Evans Coolant

My son will begin driving Jr. Dragsters later this season, but, being new to racing, I am still learning how everything works.  I know that arm restraints are required, but could you give some insight as to how they need to be installed?

Answer:

Arm restraints must be adjusted so that the driver’s hands and/or arms cannot be extended outside of the roll cage and/or framerails.  Additionally, they should be combined with the driver restraint system such that the arm restraints are released with the driver restraints.  Please refer to the manufacturer for instructions on installation.
