FIELDS SET TO 48 FOR DOUBLE-HEADER
INDEPENDENCE, Mo. February 6, 2018 – NHRA West Central Division Director Rob Park announced today the fields for Top Sportsman and Top Dragster competition at the Double-Header event, held at Heartland Motorsports Park, will be 48-car qualified fields.
“The Jerry Haas Top Sportsman presented by Aeromotive and Fineline Graphics/Madcap Racing Engines Top Dragster categories are very well represented at the Double-Header, with racers coming from across the United States,” said Park. “By allotting a 48-car field, it will enable a greater number of racers the opportunity to race for a Wally”.
The Double-Header event will be held at Heartland Motorsports Park on July 26-29th, 2018.

Heartland Motorsports Park, first opened in 1989, features an NHRA-sanctioned quarter-mile drag strip, four-level sponsor suite tower, a 2.5 -mile road course with four different configurations, a three-eighths-mile banked clay oval, a 22-acre asphalt pad for autocross and drifting events and a new motocross track.
