NHRA Tech Department clarifies EFI rule in Top Alcohol

To clarify the new EFI rule in Top Alcohol for 2023, the NHRA Tech Department is issuing an update to the rule.  EFI is only allowed on blown alcohol combinations, and to further clarify, multi-coil ignition systems (COP/CNP) are only allowed to be used with EFI.

Update to the 2023 NHRA Rulebook will be published in the next monthly rulebook update.
