NHRA Technical Department Makes Parity Adjustment to The NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series

Based on NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series performance, the NHRA Technical Department has made the following changes.These rule changes will go into effect immediately. NHRA reserves the right in the future to make additional rule changes to control performance and maintain parity in the category.

 

 

                  Nitrous-assisted entries (960 cid) - 2,545 2,565 pounds

                  Centrifugal supercharged entries (526 cid) - 2,740 2,775pounds

                  Screw Supercharged entries (526 cid) – 2,700 2,675 pounds

                  Add 25 20lbs for any 4.9 bore space supercharged combination

                  Maximum supercharger overdrive limit is 16.5% 18.6% on all roots combinations

                  Screw supercharged maximum (numeric) rear-end gear ratio 3.90-to-1 4.11-to-1

                  Converter pressure must be recorded each pass and visible in the data logger.
