The following action has been taken against Taylor Vetter regarding an incident that occurred during the NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Norwalk, OH, June 22-25, 2023. As a result of the incident, Vetter has been fined five thousand dollars ($5,000). Vetter’s Crew Chief and crew members were involved in multiple altercations with another team that resulted in physical contact. Such physical conduct toward a fellow participant is unacceptable at an NHRA event and violates Section 1.3.1 of the 2023 NHRA Rulebook regarding Participant Conduct. The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. The fine is appealable.
