The NHRA Technical Department has released additional 2026 Rule Amendments. Unless otherwise noted in this document, these additional amendments will come into effect immediately. The 2026 NHRA Rulebook Amendments can be found on NHRARacer.com under Tech, then Rules.

• Section 11A, Stock, Page 7, Rear End – Language clarification, Conventional 9-inch rear housing permitted in 2008 and newer vehicles
• Section 11B, Factory Stock Showdown, Page 18, new Rear End paragraph – Rear end clarification
• Section 12A, Super Stock. Page 5, Rear End – Sheet metal rear end housing permitted.  Modular style rear end prohibited unless OEM equipped. Truck rear ends permitted.
• Section 12B, Super Stock/GT, Page 13, new Rear End paragraph – Rear end clarification
• Section 12C, Super Stock/GT Truck, Page 16, new Rear End paragraph – Rear end clarification
