The NHRA Technical Department has released an updated Exhibition Rulebook Supplement. Unless otherwise noted in this document, these changes will come into effect immediately. The Exhibition Rulebook Supplement can be found under the Rules section of NHRARacer.com.

• Jet vehicles
  • Driver Restraint System – Beginning January 1, 2027, a minimum seven-point driver restraint system meeting SFI Spec 16.6 mandatory
  • Helmet – Beginning July 1, 2026, Eject Helmet Removal System (part number SDR 890-01-30) or Stand 21 Lid Lifter head sock meeting SFI3.3 mandatory
  • Protective Clothing
    • Beginning July 1, 2026
      • Two-piece driver’s suit also require long sleeve underwear shirt and long underwear pants meeting SFI spec 3.3
      • Flame retardant glove under-liners
      • SFI Spec 3.3 socks
      • SFI Spec 3.3 head sock and SFI Spec 3.3/10 skirted helmet
    • Beginning January 1, 2031, Jet Dragster and Jet Trucks, a SFI 3.2A/15 or 3.4A/15 one-piece suit mandatory
    • Beginning January 1, 2031, Jet Funny Cars and Canopy Dragsters, a SFI 3.2A/20 or 3.4A/20 one-piece suit mandatory
