As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the NHRA Division 1 event, the following changes have been made.
The horsepower rating for 00-04 Chevrolet Corvette, entries with the 346 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 345 currently rated at 350, has been increased by three horsepower, to 353 horsepower: for Stock Eliminator automatic.
The horsepower rating for 67-68 Chevrolet Camaro, entries with the 327 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 275 currently rated at 270, has been increased by three horsepower, to 273 horsepower: for Stock Eliminator automatic.
The horsepower rating for 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, entries with the 402 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 375 currently rated at 385, has been increased by three horsepower, to 388 horsepower: for Stock Eliminator automatic.
The horsepower rating for 2023 Chevrolet COPO, entries with the 402 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 430 currently rated at 430, has been increased by four horsepower, to 434 horsepower: for Stock Eliminator automatic.
The horsepower rating for 1968 Pontiac Firebird, entries with the 400 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 340 currently rated at 340, has been increased by three horsepower, to 343 horsepower: for Stock Eliminator automatic.
The horsepower rating for 94-96 Chevrolet, entries with the 265 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 200 currently rated at 211, has been increased by three horsepower, to 214 horsepower: for Super Stock Eliminator GT RWD automatic.
NHRA's 2026 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.20-seconds or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase. These changes are effective Aug. 18, 2026.
