NHRA officials announced a schedule change in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series for the upcoming NHRA Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway in Charlotte.
Racing in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series will now begin at 12 p.m. ET on Thursday, Sept. 19, continuing throughout the weekend. The change was made in cooperation with officials at zMAX Dragway in an effort to help prevent late-evening racing on both Friday and Saturday and allow for a more enjoyable racing experience for competitors, fans and staff.
Stacking for racers in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series will be start the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 18 (please note change to parking entrance, Sportsman racers will enter thru Entrance W), with parking taking place from 12-5 p.m. ET. Parking will resume at 8 a.m. on Thursday and racing will begin at 12 p.m. with Stock Q1. Eliminations in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series will now be slated for 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20.
