Update- November 12th, 2025 at 2:51pm (PST)
Good Afternoon Lucas Series Racers,
Due to the unfavorable forecast this weekend, the decision has been made to go directly into Round 1 of Eliminations tomorrow morning, November 13th, for STK, SS, SC, and SG. The intention is to run the event to completion tomorrow in these categories.
While an unpopular decision for all concerned, we feel this is the best course of action to complete the event and championships in your categories. We understand this may leave some of you wishing to withdraw from the event. If you choose not to race the event, do not show up for Round 1. All entered participants failing to make the call for Round 1 will receive an automatic withdrawal and credit to their account to use towards a National Event in 2026. All extra credentials purchased with the associated entry will be refunded at that point as well.
In STK and SS, first round will be contested under the same format as SC and SG, with random pairings based on lane selection. There will be no heads-up contests in Round 1 in either category. In TD, Comp and TS, ladders will be set based on 1 round of Qualifying Thursday morning.
For Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car, please be advised of a possible schedule change. The intention is to run at least one round of qualifying, as scheduled, but more rounds could be added. The first round of qualifying will be at 2:30pm with Round 1 of Eliminations at 4:30pm.
The NHRA sincerely apologizes for the situation, but it is simply out of our control at this point. This is not a decision we came to lightly, but given the negative forecast, which stretches well into next week, we believe this is the fairest situation to avoid keeping racers at the track for several days and with a potential of not racing. We respect the time and financial stake it takes to participate in our events, and our intention is to not waste your time or cost those of you who work more time off. While surely disappointed, we hope you understand, and we thank you for racing with the NHRA.
